Around 1900 there were a few colonial goods dealers in the town of Waren.
This also applies to that of the merchant Wilhelm Voss. He was the owner of the shop at Große Burgstrasse 11. A grocer sold all kinds of everyday goods. At that time he wore a white coat to appear clean and pure, as most of the goods were sold loosely packed in bags.
