The master blacksmith Carl Holstein had his store in the house at the streat "Große Burgstrasse 3". In the period around 1900, the blacksmith had other tasks in addition to blacksmith work; he repaired machines and helped with car repairs. Blacksmith Holstein's house stood on the corner of the streat "Große Burgstrasse" and "Kleine Burgstrasse". The house was demolished at the end of the 1980s.

The air-conditioned “Schmied Holstein” suite is located on the upper floor of the house. The non-smoking “Schmied Holstein” suite has a combined living/dining area with an open kitchen, two sleeping areas, each with a bathroom en suite. It is completely at ground level, accessible for disabled people and is characterized by a modern interior. The suite is equipped with a wooden floor with underfloor heating, satellite TV and radio, WiFi, a Desk as well as a modern sideboard and a comfortable sofa.
The bedrooms have a large double bed and comfortable mattresses for greater comfort as well as a modern sideboard.
There is enough storage space in the cupboards, as well as a safe for valuables.
From the terrace of the suites you have a partial view of the lake Müritz.
The suite's modern, fully equipped kitchen has an oven, a microwave, a filter coffee and Nespresso machine (a small selection of Nespresso capsules is available upon arrival), a kettle, a toaster, a refrigerator with an ice compartment, a ceramic hob, a dishwasher and more enough dishes.
The spacious bathrooms with walk-in showers and toilets are comfortably furnished. Hairdryers are available.
